The streams and rivers will start to flow at much higher rates. The melting snow, while a signal of spring after a long and wet winter, is a sad annual occurrence for Utah Ski lovers. Utah has the greatest snow on Earth, so it's hard to see it disappear every year at the start of spring. Winter was all too short for Utah ski lovers! Snow Storm Shuts Down Many Utah Services

Utah had its biggest snow storm of the season this morning. Many school districts closed down school and government agencies will be opening late. The valleys have received at least six inches of snow. The Utah mountain ski resorts have certainly received over a foot of fresh snow. Utah skiers and snowboarders will love this new storm.
