Utah Summer Arrives Soon!

May has come to an end. We're just two days away from this fabulous summer month. There is so much fun stuff to do in Utah in June. Never-ending summer adventures await you in Utah. Believe it or not, some people are still skiing in  Utah ! Those who have chosen to  fly to the Salt Lake City airport and shuttle to Utah ski resorts  have had the year of a lifetime. Consider traveling with a  Little Cottonwood Canyon shuttle service  during your next ski trip to Utah. It's a great way to reduce the stress of figuring out directions on your own or dealing with a rental car. There are lots of things to do in Utah once you get here. Try exploring downtown Salt Lake City or take a drive up to Alta Ski Resort. You could even see a Real Salt Lake game or go do a show. Can you believe that it's nearly June? Many ski resorts may stay open for several more weeks in Utah. The good times keep rolling! If you skied a lot this winter, your legs are probably in great skiing shape. Make sure you don't lose that new strength. What's the deal with Interstate names?

If you're traveling from  Salt Lake city to Park City , the majority of your ride will be on I-80. If you're traveling to Park City from the north or south, you'll likely be taking I-15 until you reach I-80, then taking I-80 straight east to Park City. Perhaps while you're making this gorgeous mountain journey you'll ask yourself, "Where do all the Interstates get their names? The interstates that your drive on all over the U.S. were created because of President Dwight D. Eisenhower's  National System of Interstate and Defense Highways.  This plan was first proposed 1938 and by how has essentially been completed. President Eisenhower was the president that really got the ball rolling on mass construction of the interstate system. Interstates that run north/south are odd numbers, while those that run east/west are even numbers. The odd numbers start on the  west coast . For example, I-5 runs along the west coast. The even numbers start in the south...
