Transportation to Utah Ski Resorts

This page is designed more for people who are coming from outside of Utah, as those who are from Utah likely know how to get to the resorts. 

Getting to Ski Resorts from the Salt Lake City International Airport.

If you're flying into SLC International Airport, you have a few options for transporting yourself and your gear to the Ski Resorts.
  • Rental Car - This option gives you more flexibility to go exactly where you want to go on your own watch, but make sure you pick a car that drives well in snowy conditions. Also, think twice if you plan on renting a care but have little experience driving on snowy and icy roads. Traveling in a shuttle might be a better option for you.
  • Transportation Services - There are several shuttle companies that can offer shared or private rides to various ski resorts. Alta Shuttle, for example, is a family-owned business that offers a wide variety of shared shuttle options to Utah Ski Resorts and private rides to some Utah Skiing locations. Contact them for exact details.

Utah had its biggest snow storm of the season this morning. Many school districts closed down school and government agencies will be opening late. The valleys have received at least six inches of snow. The Utah mountain ski resorts have certainly received over a foot of fresh snow. Utah skiers and snowboarders will love this new storm.
